I must admit to not valuing the spare wheel after being so used to carrying a tin of tyre weld and a compressor. I'll be taking out the spare wheel completely to make way for a dual exit exhaust - form over function! Wouldn't have it any other way!

I can certainly vouch for BM Euroservice in Wolverhampton, they've looked after my 6 series since I owned it and will now have my Z3 to sort out. Mark and Paul are the owners and they're both ex dealership so you get a dealership quality but nowhere near the price.

This may sound a little simplistic but have you checked the battery in the fob? I had the same issue with my E39 and couldn't work out why it would open but not lock but a quick trip to Halfords and problem solved.
