I discharged one of those small fire extinguishers at a fire marshall training day. They showed us how utterly ineffective they are. It wouldn't put out a small wastepaper bin fire - probably useful if you had to extinguish a fag - that's about it. It took one of the bigger bad boys to be effective ...

If you didn't feel instantly impressed with the z4, a 2.2 engine won't make much difference to you. Both great and capable engines IMO. Don't forget, a z4 in standard suspension guise is hard riding (runflat issue) whist being soft in the corners. Chuck out the RFT - make sure you get Sport suspensi...

The culprit could be the plastic guard on the roof mechanism supports. Open the top about 1-2 foot. Looking at the metal support about 1 foot from front edge, there's a plastic bit that sits between the supports. I can't remember off hand, but it's about 4" by 2" and a odd 3/4 sided shape....

1. MZ4 coupe :) (1st choice) 2. MZ4 roadster 3. New Audi TT 3.2 with DSG gearbox. Those are all great cars, but ask if your local Porsche dealer will let you borrow a Cayman S for an afternoon. :) then that will put your mind at ease and you'll definitely plump for the MZ4
