I discharged one of those small fire extinguishers at a fire marshall training day. They showed us how utterly ineffective they are. It wouldn't put out a small wastepaper bin fire - probably useful if you had to extinguish a fag - that's about it. It took one of the bigger bad boys to be effective ...

If you didn't feel instantly impressed with the z4, a 2.2 engine won't make much difference to you. Both great and capable engines IMO. Don't forget, a z4 in standard suspension guise is hard riding (runflat issue) whist being soft in the corners. Chuck out the RFT - make sure you get Sport suspensi...

Perhaps I am being too narrow minded in my options. Here's the situation. Space isn't that important to me although it would be nice to have more, maybe even some back seats, it's not that important. Fuel economy isn't too much of an issue either but in another 2 years I could see it being a major ...

You are correct on all fronts. It stiffens the Suspension, and increases the throttle response. Bloke No effect on the suspension. On non-///m cars it only increase the throttle response and decrease the power assistance, making the steering heavier which has the effect of more road feedback (still...

When I'm on it, I don't really notice it, but I know what you mean. My 1st to 2nd change can become 'hard' and I end up skipping to 3rd in town driving. The CDV swop didn't seam to help the gears slot home (much) - although it did made a difference to the whole process of changing gear. The ZHP heav...

Right, been away for 2 week without a nice car and need to blow away some cobwebs. So time for a micro meet... Re: Car change time... ... insight please from MZ4 owners
1. MZ4 coupe :) (1st choice) 2. MZ4 roadster 3. New Audi TT 3.2 with DSG gearbox. Those are all great cars, but ask if your local Porsche dealer will let you borrow a Cayman S for an afternoon. :) then that will put your mind at ease and you'll definitely plump for the MZ4

I think we could argue the toss either way all day... I think if you're attending a cruise, you need to have your eyes wide open and have your best driving trousers on. Certainly when I've been involved in organising, small groups are so much easier to manage than larger ones and 8 cars per group is the most I'd feel comfortable in leading. Saying that, at Dunsfold, I sent the cars off in groups of 15 down the A3 which was a sight! That was a very easy route so I w...

Please post your interest in the Go-Karting in the afternoon before the Christmas party on the 1st December. Looking at two places Outdoor and Indoor Cost wise - we're looking at between £30 - 60 dependant on what type of race we're after and amount of track time. We need 15 bods to make this viable...
