Cracking day all round. Weather was a little rubbish at times but it's only March so to be expected. Shame more could attend. You missed a really good day. :)

A big part of my old job was to value cars and buy into group. Owners became part of that process and affected the value. A car such as a Zed M at the age it is, as a valuer I wouldn't be concerned about 6 owners especially with the home work you've done to find out where's it been since you sold it...

Coming into spring I'd say £3000 would be fair dependant on just how much paint is really required. Without sounding to much of a chleche it's really worth what someone is willing to pay for it. :)

I just opted to pay the £126.50 on my Debit Card and be done with, but of course need to remember when to renew it by. By D/Debit I believe you don't run that risk....maybe I'll try that sometime. You don't need a card. Setup a direct debit and it'll take a monthly fee which for yours I imagine will be about £15 or so. :)

The problem is with a car that's been on SORN. I taxed my daily driver last month 3 weeks before it was due. If you have a reminder they let you tax early for the following month. If it's been on SORN you won't get a reminder and that's when they will keep you into the existing month upto the last d...

Someone at the beer and burger event at East Mids aeropark told me a trick to release the bonnet last year and for the life of me I can't remember it. Sorry. I can't even remember his name but its the chap with the blue Z3 with refurbished Lotus White leather seats - think it might have been 'Mint'...

I have just purchased everything for a major service and I too looked at the k and n panel filters. After speaking to a close family friend who really knows his stuff he advised against a lifetime filter. He basically said there not worth the money and stick to a standard one instead, so I have! :) ...
