The drain hole should be there - mop the water out and you should see it in the fold just below the filler. Easily cleared with a piece of wire.

If have to access to INPA you can check switch operation through ASC module.
A rough check on whether ACS is trying to function is to jack rear wheels clear of ground, start engine and engage gear to rotate rear wheels only. ASC light should come on - or at least it did on mine!!

If it has been leaking for awhile then the distribution path can be quite wide. If there is nothing obvious then first step should be to clean it all down and then monitor closely for any fresh oil path.

The Insp 2 is only an oil and filter change, with an air filter and plugs - very similar to the Insp 1, apart from allegedly removing the rear discs to check the condition of the handbrake shoes. If the handbrake works OK, or can be adjusted to do so, most garages do not bother ...

... There's heaps of stuff back there! If you remove the G/box completely, you will find several electronics "boxes" housed behind there...and piles of wiring....it is essentially located directly below the main fusebox in the engine bay, so that is the area where all the wiring loom goes...
