Re: New Roof Tomorrow
Blue hood looks good. Blue on blue is a good colour match. Quick question please. I managed to get the lining of my roof wet. The car was in the garage when the rain came down and the garage door was sloping back towards the car so water run off went into the inside of the car and soaked the lining ...

Just a word of advice re Halfords. Excellent service and colour match was fine. Problem was that when trying to spray, the nozzle would not depress properly meaning uneven spraying. Took it back and they replaced the nozzle. My point is although they depress the nozzle for a micro sec to see if pain...

My 3.0i Sport has silver wheels. A light silver. I have often thought that they might look a bit more suited to the car if they were a darker silver. Saw a Z3M today up close today and the colour looked good. Do owners know if the Z3M wheels are a particular colour. if not I can always buy a darker ...

I am looking to fit to the interior light. I can see how to get the wire up the A pillar and along the top of the screen but not a way of getting the wire to the interior light if it is to be hidden. Have others that have connected to the interior light managed to hide the wire. Thanks

I had a 2.8 Z3 1997. I removed mine with the help of a hair dryer and fingers and I stripped it right back. Underneath mine was the colour of the car (artic silver) and the paintwork underneath was perfect. I am sure there are a number of posts on the forum.

The black surround is easily removed using a hair dryer to ease the backing. Done myself a few years ago when I had a 2.8. There is a post somewhere on here that outlines the process.
