Hi, just tried my 2002 MTech sports wheel and that too flexes a lot in the centre and is not firm as you suggest. Hope that eases your worries, or causes me some!!

An O.E 'hard shell' suitcase for the luggage rack, just need the rack now!!! Was on Ebay and had no bidders at all so I snaffled it up for the princely sum of £36. Absolutely mint condition and chuffed to bits with it

Mine is a 2002 4cyl m43tu 1895cc 8 valve engine. Original Build History thread brings it up as a Z3 1.8 model but under engine it states it is a 1.90l - work that one out!! The original sales brochure only list a 1.9i

ISF Coatings products for plastic finishes are available as solvent based still ensuring a premium product, as you correctly say water borne products always appear inferior. Like eveything today, products that did the job properly appear to be banned nowadays, except in this case. BB

P.S To Last Post. They also do plastic paints in convenient aerosol form. However be sure to prep properly for a successful results, as Davejue's paint job, the end result is only as good as the preparation.
