Don't like the colour of the wheels, sorry, jealous of the chrome door handles, like the colour of the car,why not start a poll? Black wheels or Silver wheels? Majority decision prevails. We're all wanting to improve the look of your zed!

ATS.Kwik-Fit,Halfords and all Tyre & Battery Sellers test your battery for free in the hope it knackered and you buy a new one but there's no committment if you ask them to test.Five minutes and you'll know.

Though the wash will work perfectly well without them, they create a vacuum so the water doesn't run back down the tube, trying to get back thro' the pump into the reservoir. For £3.20 each, may as well replace.

In general, cars were so much easier to service then, though far more unreliable. I agree there's nothing wrong in maintaining your car...

I think Pingu was saying a competent amateur is better than an incompetent professional and i would accept that.I also accept that to keep spending £100 for an oil service,£180 for a service 1 and £240 for a service 2 on a car worth £2-3K is almost impossible to justify. However, when you have a Z3 ,1...

We had a problem with the passenger seat not moving. Not MOT related. The previous owner had replaced the roof and that was a welcome plus when we purchased the car. However,we soon found out why.Water had been getting in and water had got onto the rail and aluminium bracket at end of motor spindle,and...

The problem when you purchase any car is the hidden costs that come with it.Often there's a few niggly things and BMW parts aren't cheap and the Indies carry a premium compared to Fred-in-a-Shed who can fix everything runabout. The Z3 is the most beautiful car but the costs of ownership can give you ...
