Well had the 330 in yesterday for a replacement harness/temp sensor with filter and fluid change. Wow what a difference !! The gear change is hardly noticeable at all, really smooth changes. It seems to pull a lot better too as before there was excessive slip from the torque converter. This simple f...

Ive done 10k in my M since November 2011.. It's done 0 miles since Oct.. But I'm itching to get it taxed and back on the road :D I'm a believer that these cars sat in a garage doesn't do them much good.. They do need to be used regularly and fluids kept fresh with oil changes every year regardless o...

Got to wait for the temp sensor which is part of a loom to be delivered from Germany. Bmw part only. Getting the filter and gasket kit today then around 7 litres of ATF fluid.
Will report back when it's done. I'm hoping it will sort the intermittent fault.

Got the results yesterday.
It has a faulty transmission fluid temperature sensor and needs an Oil and filter change.
Hopefully this will sort it, if not is recon box time

Standard S50s will achieve around 300-310 bhp
Then with tuning ie air filter, exhaust and remap your looking at 320-325
Then add upgraded cams and remap your looking around 340bhp

It's booked in at elite autos here in Peterborough tomorrow morning for a diagnostic.
Having driven it this morning it seems perfect again???
I've got a funny feeling the gearbox oil hasn't been changed so might get them to do it

3.0 auto box/clutch problem, help?
Hi peeps,
Having a problem with the 330ci, today all of a sudden the gearbox has just started 'clunking'/ jolting between all gears and even when you select drive and reverse from stand still.
Does anyone have any knowledge of auto box problems?
Any help would be much appreciated
Liam

Re: Tyres - which ones from where?
As long as you keep all four corners the same tyre they should be fine. Falken 452s or 453s get good feedback from zed drivers. I had hankook V12s (iirc) on my 2.8 and they were fine. Khumo tyres are quite good for budget tyres too.. Had those on other cars with no problems. Currently got those on t...

Any supermarket will stock it. A small tube is enough to do two seats twice. It's the cream you want not the Lotion. Here its about £3 a tube. I would recommend to put it on in the evening then let it soke in over night ;) If its good enough for Aston Martin leather then its good enough for mine :D

The best thing to use for conditioning your leather seats is E45 Cream. Rub some into your hands and massage it onto the leather. Leave it on over night then buff it off the next day using a microfiber. The results are amazing, soft supple leather. This was recommended by a chap who works for Aston ...
