Yeah, you will have a passive crossover, so the signal gets split between mids (footwell) and the tweeter (door card). This stops frequencies below about 2khz going to your tweeter and blowing them. Wiring is no problem, just needs 12v on pin 3 and ground on pin 10, and the mountings are the same for BMW and Mini, just whether there is enough angle movement for the Mini mirror to line up properly, I'm sure there will be.
