It's important what the covering is made from. Metal is a lot different than paint or resin.

Yes I know about the Oem one. The point I am trying to get to with your design is that if the internal coil is completely surrounded by an aluminium tube, it won't work well, because the aluminium is screening it. It will be no better than a plain wire of the length of the tube. For a helical antenn...

Is the construction a wire inside an aluminium sleeve, and the sleeve not electrically connected?

If so, then I suggest you test one as the aluminium will severely attenuate the rf signal.

I found these, what I think are front sidelights, not indicator repeaters. But.. The description is confusing because its says it includes orange indicator bulbs. It's all finished.

I had the cluster out today to sort the dim airbag light, and all it turned out to be was a dim bulb.

Ahhhh, I see. I got it ;) SO.....if I had two batteries linked in series, that held a higher CCA overall, this would be fine? Linked in series doubles the volts to 24 and that would do a lot of damage to the electronics. You can link in parallel, but only for a short time, like when jump starting. ...

Depends on the temperature of the oil, and wether you dip the clutch. Probably about 400-600 amps. Pease advise further on this... Nothing to add really. If its cold, the oil is more viscous, therefore harder to rotate the crank in. Dipping the clutch saves the starter from turning the gearbox over...

Does anyone have a copy of this procedure. That website doesn't seem to have it now.

I need to get in to change the resistor on a facelift 2.2, and I don't know how to get behind the dash.

I assume the resistor is the same as on the 1.9?
