Tom Tom Satnav oddity

I've had a cheap Tom Tom for about a year - really chuffed with it. Odd thing though, when I'm not using it, it sits on a shelf and from time to time switches itself on. No-one in room, no remotes being used - and no heavy electro magnetic equipment in my living room... Anyone else get this? Thought...

Thumbs up to the Fintry Inn, north east of Glasgow over the "Campsies" - best burger I've tasted in a long time. Thumbs down to the Cross Keys at Kippen, a bit further than Fintry - now gone "gastro pub", on the menu is a Scotch Pie, done over with something - £6-odd. Yes, six qu...

For info only.

A couple of times a year, I do 455 miles, Newton Abbot to the outskirts of Glasgow, usually in 7.5 hours, stopping about 3 times for fuel, lunch etc.

My Satnav has just told me that it will take me 7 hours 10 minutes to do the journey.

Goodyear Eagle F1 all round, but I'm distinctly unimpressed with them. They were distinctly unsafe for the first few weeks, as you would expect, but after 4 months and 2000 miles, I'm still very cautious, especially in the wet. Had Contis before, no problem at all.
