If the price allows you to budget for remedial work or an engine swap, why not?

I traded a 328iSE in with 214k miles and it still saw 150 leptons on the way to the dealer.

You also have to remove the little tray thing in the rear RHS of the boot as there's another nut to undo there. Good result mate, as looking at the torque plot, the fuelling must have been pretty poor before (pinking) as the S54 has individual knock sensors per cylinder and would have been backing the ignition off a lot to try to prevent this.
