My partner has a 2010 E93 3 series 335i with 7 speed DCT transmission, the engine is N54, later models use N55

Engine spec is 306bhp with 290 ft/ibs torque, can be tuned to 400 bhp

I've never seen that... and you (members) ??

Many Thanks
The shifter is a standard E30

How about using the N54/N55 3.0 litre engine and DCT gearbox from an E9x 3 series

Re: Wheel Nuts Upgrade?

I bought some of the plastic covers recently for my E90, they were very loose and I didn't fit them as they would have come off almost instantly.

This type didn't fit the OEM locking bolt as it doesn't have a hex head.

A standard set of bolts on ebay are about £18 per set

Mine used to go into limp if it revved over 7000rpm, switch of ignition and all was ok until the next time.

Changed all sorts of sensors and it was the O2 sensor on the exhaust, my Indy also suggested changing the Throttle Position Switch at the same time.

Don't forget to erase the codes.

Double check that the bolts holding the mechanisms in place are all tight - when my sliders started to get stiff, I got the usual banging noise, and it was primarily caused by a bolt near the motor being loose, being made worse by the sliders sticking. I agree, I had the same problem years back.
