This topic's been around for a while :lol: Thanks for the comments, but 'cos we use the car on the roads for lots of other fun stuff, we don't want a roller skate - we'd have got a caterham/westfield for that. I've done 1/4 mile in 14.2 in my 2.8 supercharged car with the roof down (so the terminal speed was <100 due to drag). I reckon it'd crack 14, but a sub 13 car is very quick. I was beating lots of standard R33's, Evo's, Scoobies and the only stuff that was quicker in the 'Super Touring' group (modde...

If I were being cynical

I'd say BMW wants to increase revenue by charging franchised dealers to train the technicians. They can then allocate loads of overheads to the cost of training provided too.
