Re: Terrible BMW CUSTOMER service, yet again!

I get to see from both sides as I have a company 320d estate car which is main dealer serviced, but if I need any BMW specific parts for my Z3 then I use the same dealer, just a different desk. :) So far the service for both has been good (Coopers of Reading) but the estate is due it's second servic...

Stuck a new Bosch battery with 3 year warranty in tonight and all seems good so far. It took me longer to reconfigure INPA back to the Z3 (I'd been trying to sort out my daughter's Mini and had changed all the settings, then forgot how to change it back  ). Re: Jump start again, not turning over

My car wasn't used much over winter and I had to charge the battery a couple of times to get it to start. Today it just 'clicked' and even after an hour of charging wouldn't start without using jump leads. I'm measuring only about 10.6 volts across the battery when connected and when I disconnected ...

I just recently renewed my 2001 3.0 Z3 with zero no claims. When you see the prices of decent Z3s I can't see why anyone would bother. By the time you'd put it right you'll have spent more than getting a good one to start with.
