I am one of those who didn't see this article!

At 1200£ (including VAT) it's a great price, no doubt, but at more than 124000 miles it probably won't be long before a little something set you back a few hundred quid... and compting!

Thankx tim. I know there is quite a few spare wheels for sale on e-bay... but a lot more expensive than the one I've seen this morning! At 15£ I had to give it a go!

I don't get it, those wheel are very similar.... why when you want to buy something for a BMW it have to be that expensive!

Just a quick word... I was talking with a friend this week end and he told me that all the signs before the speeds cameras are being removed... so be aware! I don't think there is any danger with an English number plate but not sure!

I just had a look at the starter this afternoon. It doesn't seems to be to complicated to change it. But I have to buy some sockets with a female star shape head and I noticed the actual starter is only fit in with 2 screws...

Hi everyone. Does anyone has a photo of the spark plug socket which should be in the boot with the jack etc... I'm missing it and I'd like to buy the same as the original one! I also realised I need it to unscrew a bolt to have access to my spare wheel! I have others tools at home who can do the job...

I had a look on e-bay; ther is only one for sale! I'm sure we can fine these keind of wheel on other cars (BMW or not...). Does anyone know where to look to find a cheap one?

Thanks guys. As you said the prices are a bit lower. For the starter, the actual price is 165,50 and you get 84£ back when ou send the old one. In france there is no MOT for cars less than four years old. And then we need an MOT every two years!

No MOT for motorbikes (any sizes...) and no road taxes for anyone!

Hi, I have the same problem on my car. Z3 1.9L October 1997.

You say you paid 82£ for the solenoid! I found a complete starter (BOSCH) on the internet for 78£... and there is many for approximatly the same price.

I just wondering if there is a catch somewhere...

Hi guys.

Water pump, thermostat, belt and tentionner are all changed with new bolts and coolant.

Next are the gearbox and differential oils.

Where do you usualy buy your oils and which brand? Mobil1, castrol, carlub??

My thermostat is working fine, I just wanted to change wile I was changins the rest... but it's 50£ from BMW, same from meyle... and i found cheaper but not sure about the quality! So it might stay as it is now! I want this morning to the local retailer and water pump is 32£ and belt 13£... I forgot...

Thanks Del. I'll keep these links. For the moment my priority is to change everything about the cooling system while changing the belt.
