Good to know you got them done ok.
Yes it is only the thickness of the bushes that need adjusting to fit the outside dimensions should be OK as I have machined them to be the correct fit in that respect.

Renewed with RH Insurance last month for £253 with 3000 limited mileage. your car needs to be 10 years or older for their classic policy but the good thing is you do not require any no claims discount as they don't take that into account on a classic policy so would be right up your street.

You only need to short pins on the alarm module if you alarm system is stuck in the armed mode ie. keeps going off when you open the doors etc. as the alarm module needs to be in disarmed mode to be able to learn new remotes. Good point about the shock oil, halfords sell this and it does work although not tried on balljoints. You can also pick up proper freezer spray from likes of Maplins which will cool far more efficiently. With a bit of precise direct heat on the balljount socket then cooling the tapered shaft and a g...

I used the fork type on my old 2.8 which were stubborn like yours. Have a look for a different make of splitter with a shallower longer fork which will increase the splitting force.

It will be cheaper by far to replace the whole wishbone as you will need to take the wishbone off to replace the balljoints and then the labour on top to get them out which isn't easy and requires a 10 ton press and correct tooling to do so far less hassle and time to just replace the entire lot.
