The place is well worth a visit. Very trendy and upmarket. Pretty good value and the food is first class.
We all had a good time and wouldnt hesitate to go again.

I've used mine twice in 12 years of Z ownership. I did hear somewhere that if you travel in Belgium it must be fitted as the metal folding spikes are deemed to be a hazard and must be covered by a tonneau or similar.
Could be wrong though.

Its like there's a big difference between M-Tech suspension and the M suspension which I suspect is on the Sport mentioned above.

Wonder if this car originated from close to Warwick. I knew someone who had a very low mileage car - he was called Jason. Came on some of the very early cruises. He was extremely keen about keeping his car perfect. If its his car it will be good.

At what price point is a new hood too cheap? ie potentially poor quality.

Suppose I knew a guy who could do a complete new hood for £150 and it looked ok. Would you buy it?

Or perhaps £100 -

A couple of Zs are off to Germany today, via France. We join up with them tomorrow and the driving might be quick but never a race. If we get to the Nordschliefe a week tomorrow that might be even quicker!!! :lol:

We are taking the M Roadster but Marise would like to take the Alpina :head:

Cycling with my clubmates. Superb weather and a great 55 mile route in the country around the Warwick/Stratford area. Didnt see any Zs at all. Only one black Lotus that came round a bend and nearly lost it while heading straight towards the group. I decided to aim for the adjacent ditch just in case...

Make sure you get the right size. Believe it or not the one for the S54 M is different to the one for a pre facelift 2.8
I know I got the wrong one a few years ago. :head:

I'll give you chapter and verse when I get the receipt from Sytners cos I cant remember exactly how much it was. The fitting is being done by a chap who does Sytners hoods, or at least used to, but I've gone direct to him.
It is approx £1500 all in though.

Got my insurnce renewal on Friday. £544.29 for 2011 - renewal £477.64 Odd that it had gone down. If you have an Alpina B3 3.2 the insurance must be pretty steep so an M might not be that much different.
