Re: An S54 M Roadster for sale?
I love the look of the Alpina and this one sounds as if it bites as well as barks :) . I've heard it said that BMW insist that the best Alpina in the range can't be better in performance than the best BMW in the range. This one has the advantage that the top performance BMW in the range is the V8 M3...

I've just made some plastic gauges that can be used to test the four heights. I initially thought the siren wasn't working but I opened the car with the key without pressing the fob & it set off the alarm siren. If the siren works with the alarm, then it could be the crash module. AFAIK, there are three ways to turn on the hazards... 1. The switch 2. The alarm 3. The cra...

The problem is unlikely to be cured by a new cable as the original is usually OK. It is the connection that is weak. Tape it tightly with electrical tape.
The cable is part of the seat belt tensioner.

My Ferrari had a space saver spare wheel in the front, which was a waste of time as there was again nowhere to put the wheel that you took off. Removing weight is the cheapest and one of the best mods that you can do to anything that you want to go faster, or handle better. Try webuyanycar.com and then double, or treble it.
They are quoting £9k for my 130,000 example, so I'd advertise at £18k and lower as summer approaches. Someone would think they got a bargain when they pay £15k in May or June on a car advertised at £16.5k

Is it a US (S50B30) or a UK (S50B32).
If it is US, you will almost certainly need the pump. If it's a UK spec, you may be able to remove it. There are a lot of UK cars that don't have the pump. My car doesn't have it.

BMW Service Department (not Parts Department) sell the approved stuff. You will need to provide a container(s) to hold 2 litres and it's not cheap.
You can get an oil that has been recommended from the internet much cheaper elsewhere.
