Yes, Hamann even produced a wide body kit for Z1 (almost unoticeable, but great !!, complete new wings, new fenders/bumbers/ side panels) with this spoiler lipp as well with turbo kit conversion and upgrade to 2.7 or 2.8 (I don't remember exactly) :twisted:

Hi,

Replacing oil is not a difficult task. But be prepared to burn a bit your hand removing the oil filter behind the exhaust manifold. :?

But I disagree about maintenance cost that are not more expensive compared to a 15 years old 325i E30 (except for exhaust system and doors belts, but that's one time every 5 or 10 years !)

Hello,

I use "car disconnect" to disconnect all power, because anti-theft system + clock + radio + various electric devices are enough to drain the battery in few weeks :evil:

I store my car with doors down, and I never had any troubles with this.

IMHO, Z1 CAN'T be use as a daily car, at least if you want to keep it in perfect condition ! but it's up to you ... - electric doors are rather reliable but the more you operate them, the more troubles you might have :roll: - each time...
