Hi guys thanks for the replies, so I have charged the battery and cleaned the passenger side wheel speed sensor started the car but still the same problem, the car idles fine with no warning lights but as soon as you apply any revs the ASC light comes on and it idles really lumpy :?: Will clean the ...

No battery hasn't died, the only other thing I can think is I changed the rear springs for eibach lowerings springs recently,could I have damaged a wire that relates to the ASC light being on

HELP needed total loss of power
Hi all, could really do with some help please, went to go for a drive in the Z3 (2.8m52tu) and when I started it and went to drive off the ASC light came on and the car is idling funny when I try to accelerate there is no power and it will only rev to 1500 rpm even with accelerator flat to the floor...

Wheels are 18" with 225 45 all round was going to go 255 rear 225 front but it rides great so might leave as is.

Hi J1m, 3k should get you a good z3 get yourself a 2.8 or 3l more than enough power,you'll love it im sure,I've had loads of BMWs amongst other marques don't worry about getting rid of the m135i I reckon you'll enjoy the z3 more its got tons more character I've driven a m135i and wasn't that impress...

I recently changed my gear stick for a AC Schnitzer one and that has significantly made my gear change better, pretty sure is down to the added weight of the new gear stick/knob. Just a thought.

More progress. Have added a AC Schnitzer gear knob and handbrake handle the gear knob has made the gear change a little nicer now,though ill change the gearbox oil ASAP. Have also picked up a set of 18" staggered Cades Tyrus only problem is they are black but for the price I got them I couldn't...

There'd be nothing wrong with fitting 7.5j all round, it's actually better for handling to have non staggered wheels. The down side would be the rear wouldn't sit well to the arch.
