Never seen the led in that position, if the front switch blanks are full its put at the back behind the hand brake. I guess a earlier owner must of put it there as BMW wouldn't of

Have you still got the interior sensors in the top corner's of your windscreen ? Can the red led light be pressed in (as a switch) to turn off the interior sensors when the hood is down.

Mine came today, very small bottle (may just do the boot lid) and 2 micro cloths. I've been using it for quite a while now, but thought I would still send for one. I get mine in QD stores, £19.99 for a twin pack (2 x 2 litre bottles)

I went to one of these Ferrari Shows at Silverstone some years ago. I went on both Saturday & Sunday it was that good, it certainly was something I will never forget.

Yes a lot depends on driving style too, I've just been out to the garage and looked at mine, its not been reset for a few years now. But I do enjoy driving it as the consumption shows

I think you will find your MPG about is about right for a early 2.8, the later twin VANOS 2.8’s do give better fuel consumption. Finally, closing the new roof requires at least two people, but preferably 3. One on each side and one inside to apply the locks. Once you have it down, leave it down and do the water / heat thing. Mike & Robert are both correct about this, in all the years I've owned a Z3 I can't remember many waves, if any. But driving a MGB Roadster you got them from all other classic cars, who even stopped to have a look and chat about cars. A different world really

Only the BMW Business Radio/Cassette head unit works with the boot changer, the BMW Business Radio/CD doesn't, if you do a search you will see that other people have had this problem

It was a option on the 2.8, look for the switch on the centre console, on later models it was on the rear console behind the hand brake.
