I replaced mine by removing the radio which allows you to gain access and replace the bulb. Some of them are stiff and don't just pull out, if so you need to undo the two blots at the bottom of the radio slot. Once these are removed the controls come forward enabling you to change the bulb.

I normally check the dealer price for small items as a lot of the time they are cheaper.
When I was looking for the cover for the cruise control it was cheaper buying new than second hand off eBay!

I did contact the seller he said that there were 4 types of headlight? (News to me) and I must have the difficult one. He said that he normally had to make a 2mm gruve in the headlight to make them fit. So if you had to do that it must mean that the angel eyes were a stand size just put into differe...

Thank for all the info but it looks like I'll not be installing them after all as the angel eyes I bought will not fit into the head light, even though they were sold with a photo of a Z3 on the sellers page :head: I can't ask for my money back as I painted the white wires black so that they wouldn'...

Unless you use a hard top, be sure that the plastic rear window is fully warmed up, before putting the roof down otherwise you may have to replace it.

I agree some companies will take up to 15 years ncb others only 9, so you loose 6 years ncb going from one company to the other.

Sorry to hear about your accident glad you're ok, some insurance companies only deduct 2 years ncb after an accident. So as already said check everything out before you make a decision.

I had trouble with my bonnet switch, and all I did was to place a small sticky pad on the top of the switch. This must have pushed the plunger just a little further down to make the connection.

There's a new series of Wheeler Dealers starting in September and on the 29th of Sept I believe that is the show for doing the Z1 so looking forward to that.
