Hi Robert T, I've had a look at the plug and wires by the n/s mount there are 2 thin wires both black out of the top of the plug but 2 thick wires 1 black the other is orange/black it think out of the bottom but when I had a look at the loom that comes with the fitting kit it looks like there are 3...

Hi Robert Certainly looks like it was drowned at some point, gave the car a good clean yesterday and checked for any water ingress, none that we could see which is good, ariel grommet looks a bit tired so will go to the top of the to do list, so far so good ....she doesn't seem to mind her sensory ...

I like the way the scrolling screen takes you to the last post rather than the first post. I use View New Posts and it takes you to the start of the thread and I have to scroll to the end to see what's new. Pistonheads takes you to the last unread post in MyStuff. Hi Julie, I am fairly certain you can just disconnect the tilt sensor with no ill effects, no harm in trying anyway. Just tape up the the wire that has come loose. You need to host your photos on photobucket etc. and then link them to here. http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7658...

The sill covers yo are trying to remove cover the main sill running from front to rear, with a piece of wood on a trolley jack you can jack at almost any point along this sill, jus do not jack on the cover itself. Oil leak got worse :( New crankshaft oil seal,so new clutch, clutch release bearing and gaskets while we were at it (old one was oily and done 128k). Also crankshaft end plate found to have fractured for some reason, so replaced too. Regas aircon. All done by a man who is a highly respected Sytner ...

I recently read on another forum of a similar issue, turned out to be the master cylinder seals had gone, no issue before bleeding but the master cylinder failed during the bleeding cycle. The whole centre console need removing, not too difficult, just take your time. Believe it or not it is easier to do with the seats out of the car, just remember do not switch on the ignition with the seats disconnected as you will cause an airbag fault which can only be reset via a code reader.

You could cut off the old connectors and splice new ones on, I have a loom on a car that is being broken, if they are in good nick I'll post them to you. I'll go and get some pics.

No too difficult a job, just be methodical. The 3.0 uses individual coil packs so with the top cover removed start at one end and work along to the other. The coil packs unplug and IIRC there are two bolts/nuts holding them in place, there is also a separate earth wire that needs to be disconnected....

Yes it does, be careful when connecting it up, if you short the connection it blows the rheostat in the light switch.

Could have bought these two for the asking prices of some dealers for one, and still had change. At least these sold, and are not still on a listing somewhere. At £9K you could have a new vanos, and £4k respray and still be quids in, regardless of how "perfect" the others may be advertise...

Hi all, what should the Z3 fuel tank hold in real terms? I normally put €20 in each time, but today the light came on and decided to put €50 in but at 48 it was struggling and managed to squeeze €49.32 up to the neck of the filler. Chris, You may be able to pick up the parts second hand, but fitting would be very difficult, as well as fitting the AC Compressor and associated pipe work under the bonnet, the whole heater assembly inside the car under the dashboard would need to be changed also. IMO it would not be cost effective...
