I think that I have the same problem as my exhaust has rattled a bit ever since I purchased the Z [about 3 yrs ago] mostly on pull away never hear it when moving, I put it down to baffles, and will just live with it.

Adam, if a refill with fresh gas does not do the trick it could be the inlet camshaft sensor starting to play up, not a pocket breaking job, one thing this usually does is that the engine cuts out when pulling away from rest.
