I am getting quite a few stone chips on the front of the bonnet, can any one tell me if the BMW Paint Sticks are any good??

I wish my Z3 had water and oil gauges, they do give an early indication that things are not normal, but as standard equiptment they seem to be a thing of the past, still you would have thought, with quality vehicles?

The cost of fitting a Band Expander would be $80NZ max. a new radio would be just a bit more, have not checked price but would hazard a guess at $350 - $450 fitted, so if an expander would do the job. Yep steptronic is ok, no problems, not slow to change gear in fact its probably faster than a manual, My petrol consumption on a run is 27mpg+ I dont bother checking around town and in auto as the others have said plant the boot it drops 2 cogs leaves the rest behind, but if you like to play around ...

It is interesting, but, my MPG is not a problem either, and these things can be expensive further down the track, let someone else try it first, perhaps send copies to the Porche and Merc club they may be a bit more gullible?? :twisted:

You are talking about manual transmission I assume, however, I get the same thing with my 3.0i steptronic, it is intermitent and happens when about to pull away from the Lights, it happened 4 or 5 times during the first couple of weeks after buying the car but seems to be gradualy getting better??
