I never met Neil but as said it was quite obvious from his posts he was very passionate about the Z3 and a great loss to this community.

I have still got the struts and springs off my old 2.8 which you can gladly have. There is a little surface rust on them but certainly not leaking, one strut is complete and the other has the top bearing missing hence spring and strut seperate. A few of us went out for a Christmas meal with Kevan last night which was very enjoyable and just brought home how determined Kevan is to live life to the full despite this disease's best attempts to cut it short so I think everyone present was in admiration of his immense courage to battle through....

OK a number of things can cause this firstly you could have an induction hose leak as they are on the left side unlike the air-pump which is on the RHS. A small split in the air intake hose usually where there is a small corrugated pipe going off to the idle control valve so check this for a split. ...

Not sure it is that one as Liam told me it has 80k on it not 75k that one says it has, still looks a very nice example though. Might be wrong but looks like a becker stereo from that angle too.

Front Z3M wheels have the same offset as non ///M Z3's so yes they will fit at the front. Some people have fitted front ///M wheels all-round to non ///M zeds as a solution to the problem of the rears not fitting.

Rob, as already discussed if you decide to go down this route you are more than welcome to borrow my spare set of ///M wheels to check fitment. Have you also considerred you would also be able to get another type of ///M fitment wheels allowing you to go for some serious deep dish rears.

You also need to undo the large jubilee clip holding the MAF to the intake pipe and wiggle it out. Then the airbox should be free to just lift straight out. Likely to be one of the ABS sensors on the hubs, they can get dirty and yes just giving them a clean usually cures the problem for another couple of years. Just remember when the ABS light is on you don't have this available to you should you brake sharply so just be aware.
