Wheel wobble at circa 40mph

Have searched and cant find a definitive answer. At around 40mph I get a little wobble through the steering wheel. Car is on 17s with, iirc, 225 45 at the front and 255 50 at the rear. My father in law has a 1.9 4 pot, and I have just bought a 2.0 6 pot, the 2.0 is so much better than the 1.9, so I would definately be looking for a 6 cylinder.

this is true for most things in life, but then there are always occassions were these rules dont play true and there is something available for less that does the job just as well ;)

Just picked this up...

2.0 straight 6 z3 with 91k on the clock, got it for a very keen price imo. Couple of quick pictures, will take more tomorrow.

No rear diff grumbling or whining when in reverse gear or moving off. Be sure to reverse in it-very important!


Just seen this, what does it signify if it whines in reverse? The inlaws new car does this!

Hello all, new to the forum, inlaws have just bought a 1998 1.9 z3 roadster and found it has a broken rear coil spring.
