Where did you take the power from, and did you route the cable behind the center console and then into the glovebox ? Took the power from the assessery circuit (audio) and if I remember right the cable drops through a hole in the panel above the glovebox so it dosn't get in the way of the glovebox ...

I've fitted a double lighter socket on a fly lead in the glovebox and put a twin port USB socket off E-bay in one socket.

The ones that made the most difference to the driving experience were gear knob replacement then Amsoil and bleed clutch. I've had my Eibach springs on so long I can't remember what it was like before but they make car look so much better. The one I've done resenly that makes the front look soo much...

I've seen marks like this before when I worked in a bodyshop left by masking tape! It's down to very soft paint usually straight colours, red was always a favourite for it but also black. Put anything against it for any length of time and it will leave a mark, explains why some are having issues but...

Looks like there's some crisp cold but sunny weather on the way and I've heard all the horror stories of the window cracking and to warm the inside of the car and window before folding the hood, well what about putting it back up after your drive and the windows got cold again?

There's a thread on Bimmerforums US about a company that is close to producing a replacement hood with a glass window for the Z3, they've done it for Alfa spiders. Their talking maybe £400/£500 which isn't bad but not saying if it's heated or not. I'm sure some kind sole will post a link to the thea...

I used a small hand pump, there used a lot by boat owners to suck the oil out of the engine rather than drain it, used it in reverse to put the oil in.

I've just replaced mine with Amoil synthetic MTF from Opie oils, lot's of good reports in the states and after a few miles transformed the gear change on mine haven't got a clue what colour tag my gearbox has I never saw one when I changed the oil.

I've just changed the diff oil in my 2 litre (non LSD) so bought 2lts of Castrol Syntrac as the handbook says capacity of 1.4lts and proceeded to drain it off and refill to only manage to get in 1lt!! So have you replaced both your sensors with OE BMW one's now? Which inlet sensor did you get from GSF they do two one for £28 and one for £58! they also say they do an OE exhaust sensor for about £60.
