Don't all Z3s have a space saver? If so, that will still be ok with the bigger wheels as the rolling circumference will remain the same. I would like to fit the later wheel as fitted to 2001> Z3 and E46 with the round airbag but can't find out if it's compatable, my car is a June 99 build date so has two stage airbag system.

Has anybody done this mod?.

Just to clarify the 2 stage airbag system (was oriingally single stage) was fitted to all z's from 04/99 production (note registration date) so you need to check the production date on the sticker in the engine bay if you are not sure :wink: Sorry to hijack this thread...when I ordered my car in 99...

Looks good, I think five spokes really suite the Zed and ACS design some of the best, I just wish I could find a staggered 17'' split rim set that wasn't for a 5 series or E30 M3 their like rocking horse poo. It sounds to me like you have no trims on there, my pipes are just gray steel with the trims removed.

The standard BMW pipes are slightly oval so you need genuine trims from the dealer.

I ordered it as an option with the Topaz blue/Black leather, and with the extended leather you get the drivers and passenger dash areas(plus you get a passenger airbag included) console sides and tops of the door panels all trimed in leather.

I have this option and I've seen some problems like this but with the passenger side airbag cover.

I treat mine with a leather conditioner (autoglim I think?) on a reguler basis and so far no probs.
