Don't all Z3s have a space saver? If so, that will still be ok with the bigger wheels as the rolling circumference will remain the same. The problem is'nt with the space saver spare it's what you do with the wheel you take off, I've got 17''s on mine and they wont fit in the boot, so you would have...

Just to clarify the 2 stage airbag system (was oriingally single stage) was fitted to all z's from 04/99 production (note registration date) so you need to check the production date on the sticker in the engine bay if you are not sure  Sorry to hijack this thread...when I ordered my car in 99...

The seatbelt warning light doesn't actually do anything on UK cars, other than illuminate for about 10 secs at startup - it is not actually connected to the seatbelts. The seatbelt warning on my 99 facelift came on at 18 months old, had to go back to the dealer and have fault codes read and ...

Hi Z3 and welcome, somebody from my neck of the woods for a change  very nice colour combo that was what I first picked when I placed my order with Ocean Torbay. Don't expect a lot from Ocean, it was a constant battle to get any little problem sorted and that was in the first three years. Back ...

For me it lacks support in the lower back area.I think though you really should try before you buy as we are all different shapes and sizes and you may or may not find them comfier. Agree...I think part of the problem for me being tall(6foot) is that as you lower the seat right down it seems to til...

Looks good, I think five spokes really suite the Zed and ACS design some of the best, I just wish I could find a staggered 17'' split rim set that wasn't for a 5 series or E30 M3 their like rocking horse poo. Let us know how it handles, I've heard that 8.5'' rims on the front can make the tramlinein...

I'm still convinced it's the tread pattern thats the problem on the zed. The reason tyres like the F1's work so well is the V shaped groove pattern used compaired to the more common block pattern with lots of radial grooves that tend to follow the lines of the road. When it came to replace my rear P...

Naeem.m I particularly like the matt aluminium console panel. The most annoying thing about the interior of my Z is that amateurish looking 'scratched ally foil' look of the OEM panel. I wish I had the skill and patience to do the same. Well done! :thumb: That is the OEM panels in the pic's, so you...

I've ran through the same idea myself many times (I think we saw the same 2.8 engine on E-bay recently) also thought of a BMW V8 as the ultimate convertion but the amount of work has always put me off. I've always liked the idea of a supercharger kit, just need to smuggle one in from the states, eas...

Not a problem, I've fitted side lights into my face lift headlights stortly after I got the car. The main problem with this is not to get plastic sworf into the headlight. The later lights are the same moulding but with a cap moulded over the side light fitting, it's just a case of cutting the cap o...
