soft rear end.. but might be normal
i have a 3.0 and tend to drive it quite fast (upto the speed limit) :) so, 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, all happen quite quickly.... at the moment if you change in a corner, then you need to be aware that its going to move as you change gear, you get a wobble.. ish... a slight unnerving feeling shall ...

You need to have a good look about. It's probably something plastic that's weeping. But might not do it hot. Only cool.. Or only hot. Or whilst cooling lol.

EBay has some..... Just cos it's not oem and is a pretty colour doesn't mean it's worse or stiffer.

With spacers on the rear, surely this makes it tend to understeer more?

mines a 3.0, on 15" wheels.... all drives fine, nice and slideable, 4 wheel drifting etc!
but.. they do look naff, and i want bigger brakes..... do you pick 16 or 17's?
its fairly soft in my opinion compared to my S4, but its a lighter car and they tend to be softer.

My guess is I've got two things going on.

Changed the front discs and pads to get rid of a horrible "oh sh** im not going to stop feeling" turns out only one of the pads was moving in the caliper and the other was just bending and hardly touching the disc! anyway, the Pagid pads seem fine and can cram them on nicely. but..... one ...

Clunk when changing gears
My 3.0 makes a clunk when changing up.
More noticeable in lower gears when you put clutch in.
And sometimes when you let it out again.
Doesn't seem to be throttle dependant as can't make it happen without using the clutch.
It could be many things and I have my ideas but anyone had a similar thing?

Emissions? bent pipe failure
so, on my 2001 Z3 3.0 this pipe is pretty much useless, its got hot/old and feels a little like blue tac!
pretty sure this is just the emissions re-circ pipe? so i could remove it? and plug it up?
but, is that a good thing? anyone done it before?
