Well despite a poor start with two captive nuts in the front crossmember becoming very un-captive freely moving free-range nuts and a snapped threaded bolt off one of the exhaust downpipes the new clutch is in. Amazing - now my car can actually move backwards and forwards without sounding like a tan...
