Also be aware the STATIC speed cameras have a 0 KM/hr tolerace. 1 km/hr over and you get a fine. Its still 5 percent tolerance with handheld flicks speed camera so do not let them tell you otherwise. I bought some new from the stealer last week to repair some seats, anyhow some better seats came my way and I dont think i can be bothered to fit the new seat guides. You can actually buy all the connectors and the pins that go inside them from a dealer: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.do?model=CH72&mospid=48079&hg=61 I replaced the plug to the double temperature switch in mine by buying the bits from the dealer. You just need to find the right casing...

IMO, there's no point in either of those mirrors, because they are still too large for the Z3.
What we need is a smaller oval mirror which will fit easily. There used to be a guy in the US at http://www.z3mirrors.com/ who did this, but he seems to have gone away now.

Definitely worth it. Makes the front much more consistent, and less pointy in bumpy corners.
I have a cheap one, and it's fine. You don't need a massive slab of ally. The forces are all tension and compression, and don't apply any bending moment to the brace.

Last month I sold some on there, fixed price £75 each plus postage.

Not really.. It takes more energy to make the hydrogen by splitting water than simply charging a set of batteries.Hydrogen may be a better option after all.

How many litres of paint and primer will I need to do my wheels? Anyone? I'm doing this at the moment and I've got one tin of primer (500ml), one tin of paint (500ml) and one tin of laquer (500ml) per wheel + one extra of each as a contingency. I've used the Gunsons kit myself on several different cars and it's worked fine. The kit in the link above talks about needing "workshop" air pressure of 90-120 psi which would not fit with most DIY usage. Thats not an issue as I have a big compressor. My inclination is to get one like th...

The 2.8 was really designed for use with the optional 17 inch wheels - hence the odd look of the narrower rear 16 inch wheels. Our 2.2 is pretty quick, but having driven other 170 bhp cars, it does feel like something is lacking slightly.
