c_w sorry to disapoint you I'm sure you thought the thread would have included a trip to the ring. Next year I will attend a track day in the uk for sure. It was a lovely trip, if not a little rushed and the Moselle is very beautiful. Not sure I would recomend that particular route to anyone though....

A little trip to Germany

1596 trouble free miles, I think the car runs better now in fact after a good run. £269-50 in fuel – some of it was the 100 ron stuff, but I didn’t notice any difference in performance, maybe I wasn’t trying hard enough. I borrowed a tom-tom before we went which was a must for finding hotels in town...

I'm not exactly a boy racer either I insure with Saga :lol: Canman sent me a pm with his phone number and said he was available Thursday and Friday this week. Friday looks excellent for weather but it is the day I am off to Germany for the road trip. Thursday work. Maybe a pm to Canman for this week...

Good news Canman that seems like a very reasonable price.

When you are there have look if they have any nice goodies from the damaged Zeds they have on their website. I am looking for a strut brace and but strut in particular.

Nice wheels by the way they suit the car very well :)

Sounds like a nice car in a great colour combination and at a sensible price. Car price guides mean nothing.
Cars are worth what they are selling for.
Find several similar specced cars and see what price they are advertised at remove a litle for knock down and that is what your car is worth.

A little more expensive than BMW at £70 a corner, but I do know they remove the tyres acid bath shot blast powder coat and lacquer so I still think it is good value. I almost bought one in Phoenix yellow .
Then I went to spec savers and bought the Boston green 8-)

The wheels are very bright now and I really like the contrast so I guess iv'e answered my own question.

Don't know if it's of any interest, but the KwikFit chain were doing a special offer on re-gassing air con units.
IIRC it was around the £40 mark.
Looks like I'm going to get my hands dirty just bought a tin from Halfords for £40 :head:

Does anyone know how much refregerant the M roadster air con holds?
I would like to fill it up with a can from Halfords but I think it's detrimental to have too much as well as too little.

The wheels could do with a refurb though, is there a recommended outfit in S.Yorks? Three of the wheels have the little M badge missing, is it still possible to buy them?

Thakyou for all your replies: @jonttt will definately check diff mounts and boot floor spot welding. As you say it is what is underneath thats important, i can allways offer less for a wheel refurb and paint to the bumper. @NorwegianBlue an interesting history I think.
