Or it was fitted as a replacement and never connected.

The headlight switch and gear knob run off the same fuse I found this out the hard way a few years ago.

Rear panels from a pre-facelift widebody or ///M will NOT fit a facelift car. The inner wings are different pre and post facelift.
That's what I'm trying to say. He would need to swap all the rear panels to achieve the look (including wings).

Yeah they are a straight swap. But only if your zed is pre facelift model. Which the 3.0 is facelift if my memory serves me well.

You would need all the rear panels.

Back to what waynerp was asking. Unfortunately those coilovers aren't a very good design on the rear. On a friends car we tried removing the adjuster on the spring but the shock kept bottoming out under heavy conering. The spring wont sit central either.

How does the car sit with the adjuster like that? I bet its still high at the back. unfortunately that's how those coilovers work. They dont really get the rear any lower.

If you aiming to get the rear higher i would try tapping it round under tension.

The bolt closer to the rear of the car you can get at with your normal grinder, I cut a slit in the bolt head and tapped the bolt loose with a chisel and hammer. I Agree C_W but on the butt strut the it stops the lower part of the chassis flexing. On the top, the mounts pivot on the chassis allowing the lower to flex. So having a strut on the top will have little effect. If I had time I would draw this up in a 3d model. I'm afraid I'm thinking along the same...
