Seeing the 4th photo helps me realise why the Z1 has some scuttle shake; the rear chassis section is fairly two dimensional with not a lot of bracing.

205 45 tyres are too narrow for a 7.5 inch wheel; the rim is wider than the tyre and there's no stone/kerb protection for the wheel at all.

€555 is not a bad price for 4 wheels w/tyres. But sellling those tyres separately will be a challenge; there's not many cars on which they fit properly.

From the manual the procedure is:
  • loosen the three recessed-head screws on the rear of the dipped headlights
    turn the headlights until the stop is reached
    tighten the screws again

Z1 paint - clear coat?

I was surprised to find the Top Red paint on my Z1 appears to have a clear coat; this is based upon using a mild polish and getting no stain on the polishing cloth. Other red German cars that I've owned of that era quickly stained the polishing cloths. Any comments?
