Wholeheartedly agree! Given how much more expensive diesel is and how much more refined petrol engines still are I will not be buying another diesel. Aarrrgh go for a 6 cylinder! Bulletproof compared to the 4 cylinder.
Is the year really an issue..? You will probably not find a car nicer than Yalden's to be honest.. which has been stock modified.

Yours are pre facelift Dave, which are easy to come by for a good price. The facelift are like golddust to be honest! I paid €40 for each light individually through searching and searching online... finally they come up but they are not easy to find! Ebay sellers will charge you a dime and dozen... ...

I think the gills in general are a nice feature though compared to if nothing was there at all? The Z3 has a classic feel to it as well now so something like this suits it well. I can see why they moved it away from the modern version however.

I believe that the only thing that matters is whether they have a single stage or dual stage airbag. All single stage wheels are compatible across the Z3 range, and all dual stage wheels are compatible across the range.
