There's a huge variation in skills out there, the only common factor is that we are doing the most dangerous thing that most of us will ever do on a daily basis. Travelling via the A1, Ferrybridge is some 165 miles and Autocrap reckons 3 hours 40 mins. Seems to me there's a little slack in this, but as it's Friday who knows?

If we set off from South Mimms at 1030, we would be at Ferrybridge around 1415. How do these times sound to everyone?

Hi Stu

I only have the vaguest idea of your route last year. Let us know where you want to rendeZvous 'oop north' and at what time, and we can then sort a route from South Mimms.

As a guide, Autofahrt reckons South Mimms to Wetherby is about 4 hours

I'm up for a South Mimms meet. Any thoughts on route--other than up the M1 and M6? Autoroute reckons it's almost 4.5 hours without stops using motorways which means something like a 1:15 pm start to get there by 6pm. I'd be up for an earlier start and a more interesting route. For example, using the...
