Re: Tyreweld v Mobility kit
Interesting debate. I have to confess to still carrying the space saver spare AND a few bottles of jollop. Luggage is an issue for sure, as is the likely price of emergency tyres on the continent. I do carry a compressor when I go abroad into the bargain. My M3 csl had the mobility kit and the only ...

Fred,
Just in case the message I have just sent (still sitting in my 'Outbox') does not get to you - yes please, send me the form to:
samlever@thinkpositive.co.uk
Many thanks for organising this again. If it is anything like the last two it will be fantastic.

Most likely Z1 as she was a little left out last year, but I'm also planning Fred's French odessy in May and so might go in the old Pork Chop inste...

Hey Darren,
Saw you at Silverstone on Sunday. I was walking through the main gate as you drove through and over the bridge. That 458 looks and sounds delicious......... I also saw the car later, parked behind the old paddock, buy didn't spot you.
Hope you had a good day or weekend.

Yes - watch your speed!
The black beetles are a lot more cunning than plod over here - they carry guns and they can impound your car.
Watch in particular the 70kmh limit in villages and built up areas. Enjoy France - it is a beautiful country to drive in.

Dear Fred, Fantastic! We will b there (x2). I agree with GG re the baggage in the Z1, but there we are. At this moment, I'm thinking of a tour running from Wednesday to Wednesday or something along those lines as we spoilt the Dordogne one last year by trying to get down there and back too quickly. ...

I'll make sure that I come and catch up wth you guys though.
Hope you all have a good run up / down on Sunday.

Tony, I've always used the Renovo one. It is easy to apply as Jet says and can very easily be wiped off for us non-Picasso types. I still don't get why the door won't open with 'juts' a flat bettery though. Back to the Jag concept
Back to the Jag - yes, very nice indeed. I can't help thinking though that a Series 1 3.8 Coupe would do the trick so much better and would be w hole lot less contrived.
I LOVE the Z8, but if it were a choice between one of those and a 507 there would be no contest:
