Yes perhaps I didn't explain myself fully - "struggling for cash" as it seems. Serve them right for putting large sums into Icelandic banks... If the holes are 4" deep BTW, you have a claim against the council - but you'll probably need photographic evidence. If the police have been ...

Hehe, Yes, 'wonderful' place! Be wary - one of my colleagues from another office had her laptop stolen from her room there. She could have left it here in our secure workshop, but... Location, yes, left at the first set of lights heading east takes you into our estate... Emergency vehicles noted - i...

On the west side of the junction Rob? I work on the first estate on the east side. Was part of EDS, now it's part of HP... 90 had nearly an inch of snow on when I left at 16:30. No snow in Cheltenham. 90 has thawed. Hopefully will be back in Z3 tomorrow (Friday). BTW - love that Sprite! Waiting for ...

More Cheltenham / A40 / M5

Black Z4 (55 plate) passed me on M5 south yesterday (17th) around 16:40.
Found it on the Arle Court roundabout, heading towards Hatherley - didn't see which direction after that as I stalled the Z3
This morning, Black Z3M 3.0 on the same roundabout, heading for the Gloucester Road.

I'll keep an eye open.
Usually use M5 for my commute - work just off Jn9, have easy access to Jn11.
In the Land Rover today with the promise of slippery conditions later.

Red Lion Inn, Lacock, Wilts

Comfortable rooms. Excellent pub menu. Good real ale (SWMBO found wine she liked too). Stayed a couple of nights here back in Oct 09. Going back again this year. There is off street parking to the rear of the pub/hotel. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g315994-d305932-Reviews-The_Red_Lion-L...

There is a fantastic road between Abergwesyn and Tregaron. Not fast, blind corners / brows / steep drops one side / sheep, but the scenery is fantastic. Drove it many years ago in my MGB when spectating on the Welsh International Rally (early '80s). Been promising to go back, one day! I've also been...

3 Zs during this morning's commute Cheltenham/Tewkesbury

I've seen fewer MX-5s than I spotted Zs this morning! First off: black Z3 heading towards Cheltenham on Hatherley Road at approx 07:20. Didn't get the reg or model it was behind an oncoming car waiting to cross the mini-roundabout junction with Hatherley Lane. Second: two minutes later a dark blue Z...

Could well be interested depending on date(s).

M5 North, JN11

Some mornings northbound Z3 just north of Jn11 M5. Dark colour (it's still dark so can't tell actual colour) with BMW boot rack fitted.
Usually in outside lane with its nose up the backend of the 80mph queue in front of it

On a not totally unrelated matter check out this X5 diesel feeding on its own lubrication. Riwa - I came across this once myself back in the early eighties as a young marine engineer. Turned out it was running on its lube oil too. Rightly scary stuff at the time. Seems to be a number of ex-...

Must be something about Feb 9th and black Z3s.
That's when I collected mine too!
Wondering how long it will take my wife (who has absolutely no interest in motors) to notice the previous (black MX-5) now has 'silver bits on the side of the bonnet' :D
Enjoy!

Hehe,

Got fed up waiting for a buyer for my 1.8 MX-5, so traded it for a 1.9 Z3 in the end. :)

Just learning the car now (70 miles since Tuesday 9/2 isn't far) :rtm: .

Just an idea, but I have both my Morgans on a single policy via Gott & Wynne insurance brokers in N. Wales.
While they specialise in Morgan insurance and a few 'special' marques including kit cars, giving them a call can do no harm.
