New Plate!

I've just bought me a lovely sparkling new private plate for The Zed. It was advertised by almost all the reg no. companies on the net, including the DVLA, all at pretty much the same price. Difference is that the DVLA price INCLUDES 17.5% VAT and £80 transfer fee, which is usually ADDITIONAL to the...

Door handles?

Hey all. I've got the opportunity of buying a pair of chrome door handles for The Zed at a reasonable price. Looks to me like it's a dealer job to get them fitted. Scotthalls in Ruislip just quoted me £246.75 for fitting.....OUCH! And no, that doesn't include buying the new handles! So.... Has anyon...

Purely a term of mild endearment in a 'laid-back hippie' manner used by acquaintances when parting company.

Hi Spokey. Really sorry, but me n' the wife can't do this one. We'll be returning from a week in France on that day. Perhaps it's a good thing that we're not doing this cruise. Underside Damage??

A query. Whilst we were out for a bit of a blast last Saturday in the Oxford - Stratford upon Avon area, the navigator (wife) picked out some really nice country lanes off the beaten track. With the roof down, the sun blazing, (and a slightly heavy right shoe  ) we enjoyed the Zed to the fu...

Had your cousin posted photos of her car on the web? No, not to my knowledge! Over reaction? Yep, I agree. Hard.

Our tap water is very hard and alkaline, but I've never noticed 'stains' on the paintwork provided I get to chamois it down before the surface water evaporates. If it does dry out, what a mess! There's so much muck in our tap water that when the H2O vaporises, the muck that's left is horrendous. Yes...
