Try here. I had really poor reception until I found the centre wire of the coax was touching the ground (on the connector at the rear of the redio). Do you or did you get a small spark when you connected the cable at the rear of the car?

You will probabily find the view out of the mirror a lot more restricted than the standard ones, but what the hell, a small price to pay for style.

I used auto glass on my merc vito earlier this year, I also use DL insurance. No probelms with them, arranged an appointment, the technician turned up on time and replaced my screen. This was the same on mine, the mirror/lens was not identified as being specific to one side or another, the only thing you need to do is attach the heated mirror wires if available on the car.

Just bought a brand new set of ///M mirrors off ebay. I have been looking for these for a while but at 8 - 10 years old they still command a silly price second hand, c£300.00 and they would need painting on top of that. The delivery took approx 4 days.

Temp Range

Whilst having problems with my temp gauge I had trouble understanding the actual temp of the car when in the test mode. Was the origional fuse blown?

Can you here or feel any slight movement when trying to adjust the seat, sometimed the seats stick in a position if not used for a while and need a little coercing to move again.

Just had the same problem with my Earls Clutch, I contacted John Beeson @ Earls and he is going to send out an adaptor FOC. They are just in the process of getting some made so should be with me in the next week or so :lol:

I assume that you don't have a passenger airbag otherwise you'd get an airbag light if this connector was disconnected (if you don't have the passenger airbag the system ignores the occupancy sensor - you probably don't even have an occupancy box under the seat) I thought this too, although DC had ...

DC,

I beleive the connector is for the passanger airbag sensor, It will sence if someone is in the seat.

Perhaps you should first make up your mind - are you using a pressure bleeder or a device which draws a vacuum in the braking system? The airbag cover would need to be changed, AFAIR the non airbag cars have a cover fitted that just clips into place, the cover fitted to airbag style cars have a retaining strap fitted to the cover to stop it flying off.

The retaining strap connects to the metal work behind the dash.

Courageous I have copied this from a 98 ETM, I have also looked in a 2000 ETM and they are the same. This might give some help, the cable colour below shows as brown and grey?
