My 3.0L (2000) has a very similar pad but it doesn't cover all the spot welds.

You can still see two of them on the left, below where the CD changer used to be.

I've been investigating getting the Zed's wheels refurbished. They are Style 42 bolted so they are 2 piece split rims. The quotes I'm getting range enormously and if they are to be done properly - split the rims, refurb both parts and re-assemble - there is no cheap way. Wheel Specialist in Manchest...

On a Z3 the rear window unzips and the new one zips in, unless it's already been replaced by somebody who stitched in a non oem replacement. Supposed to take less than an hour for someone who knows what they are doing.

I did use the paint. Although not perfect it's a reasonable match and much better than the little bit of standard rust that was starting.

I think the dealers must mix the paint as they need it as the little pot Zed Carer sent me was made up originally for his car but was not a perfect match for my car.

Been saving my pennies for a Becker Grand Prix for my Zed.

Which colour display best matches the orange dash lights on a Zed?

Yellow maybe? How close a match is it?

Also been considering blue, as my Zed has a blue centre console.....
