Had to change one of my horns last year.
Pigs to get at. They are one on each side, behind the fog lights.

Recommended to me by a guy in the used car trade. Works very well and, to my surprise, lasts well too.

Just fitted the Whalen bushes to my driver's seat this morning. Took just under two hours, including getting the tools out and packing away and a 10 minute coffee break. Hardest part was getting the cable under the seat unplugged. It turned out to be locked in the socket with a sliding plastic mecha...

I've been investigating getting the Zed's wheels refurbished. They are Style 42 bolted so they are 2 piece split rims. The quotes I'm getting range enormously and if they are to be done properly - split the rims, refurb both parts and re-assemble - there is no cheap way. Wheel Specialist in Manchest...

He did indeed.Zed Carer wrote: you're almost right - Rob was involved as he couriered the paint from Harewood back to Cheshire for Tufarlian.
I think the dealers must mix the paint as they need it as the little pot Zed Carer sent me was made up originally for his car but was not a perfect match for my car.

Just fitted Powerflex bushes
I've just fitted Powerflex PFF5-301 Front Wishbone bushes to my Z. Pretty easy job. Took me a couple of hours to do both sides, with a coffee break in between. :) Thanks to Mike Fishwick for his how-to in the knoweldgebase. The design of the bushes has changed since Mike did the write up. The ones I...

Yes, they go in quite easily. I usually cut them with a hacksaw, then smooth off any edges with emery cloth and squash the new one in. You mean cut the old ones with a hacksaw to get them out, don't you? Surely not cut the new ones! Then smooth th edges on the new ones before pressing them in with ...

No standard Elise is capable of that sort of speed. They aren't about really high top speed. They are much more about quick acceleration and razor sharp handling. My old 111S was good for maybe about 130 absolute max. Even the Honda'd Elises are not geared for such high speeds and even if they were,...

Well my next question/request is does anybody in the Cheshire area have the sports or M seats that wouldn't mind letting me sit in and see how they feel? Dan I live in Middlewich, not too far from Chester. You're welcome to try the seats in my Zed. Seats piccy Let me know if you want to meet up. Mark

Thanks for that. Since letting go of the Becker idea I've discovered that there are much better value units out there. Looks good but the bluetooth addon is another £100. Another development is my company has just given me a little present of £80 of Halfrauds vouchers. Now, I wouldn't normally buy something like this from them but £80 off makes the Alpine very cheap and it has bluetooth built in. Now if Halfruads wi...

Coupler screws onto stud, seat frame now rests on coupler and is held in place with a new ...

Becker Grand Prix
Been saving my pennies for a Becker Grand Prix for my Zed.
Which colour display best matches the orange dash lights on a Zed?
Yellow maybe? How close a match is it?
Also been considering blue, as my Zed has a blue centre console.....

How about a wireless one?
If your phone is bluetooth take a look at this.

I have one in my Zed and it works fine, even with the roof down.
Lots of 'em available on eBay
