i can replicate rs232 serial on a vista notebook using an old belkin usb to parallel/serial adaptor and using xp drivers. It creates a COM3 which i have successfully used for talking to my racelogic TC.

You may find these cheap on ebay as most people do not have a use for them these days.

You can play competitively online against each other. Intro is nice, if your not sure yet wether you like the M3 Coupe, watch the intro and you will want to buy one.

Well Leigh, i think things through and then when the time comes for me to get what i want, and when something turns up I go for it. Its the silver one, not sure the exact colour name. I think the 530d only came in black, silver and avus blue (i could be wrong). I am not a fan of black cars and it doesnt look right in blue, but i love the silver one.

I had a chat to him whilst i was waiting for you to catch me up / took a detour / got lost trying to get out of tatton park (**delete as appropriate). His Estoril ///M is 2 years younger than mine. My car had 27190 miles on the clock and his had 27194........hmmmmm.......weird :D

I'll probably come across as well, only 5 minutes from me, but i am staying over in Stoke (not far from you Adamski) on the Saturday night. Not sure how clean my car will be by the time i get to Tatton. Will be a nice little warm-up run from stoke over the Mow Cop.

Boysie, theres a small label with the serial number on the front of the vanos, also shows the manufacturer. I think there were 2, a rolls royce and the other one might have been siemens but not 100% sure.

Mines a June 98 S50. Just hit 26K miles and vanos is original and not a problem in mine, the Rolls Royce badged one.

I have had a full set in the bag in the boot of my Z. And with a trolley too. Theres a knack i find, lower the club head end of the bag in first and push right to the edge and then lower the bottom of the bag in. Do the reverse to get out.
