I find you have to use the gears to get the performance you're maybe looking for. My 2.2 gets to the red line very quickly.

We had a lovely mini-cruise and picnic today despite 2 short sharp heavy showers. Luckily those showers didn't occur during the cruise. It was good to meet some new Zedders and old friends too. I used to get same as BladeRunner on my previous Zed, a 1.9, It averaged 35 mpg using the tank full to tank full method.

Just watched it too Robert. I can remember being in the BMW hospitality venue when Murray Walker was being interviewed. Really enjoyed the racing on the programme.
