Argggh

Not to weld, just been cleaning up the cracks and found a third. Thats three to many for this many horses !.

Been on ebay US and found a couple of bellhousings pretty cheap, just trying to do a deal to get them shipped.

Well i knew i should have stayed in bed ! I spent the morning levelling the engine in the car and tweeking the gearbox cross member to make everything dead level and straight. Job done. Removed the engine and gearbox from the car and as i lowered it to the deck i heard a 'ping' i knew what it meant,...

I am still looking at replacement options, so many wheel choices. not fussed about the airbag as i am switching to full harnesses, so my melon wont get near the wheel !

I have just had the battery replaced on my mini under warranty. It failed before xmas and then again last week. It completely gave up !! BMW were somewhat reluctant to replace it, but they did after a day of various tests !! I am glad about it too as it cost close to £200 ! - i am sure the stop/star...

do you mean polybushed droplinks ?? not sure about that, i replaced them with new.

But i have a cunning plan to replace the droplinks with rose jointed versions, so they are then adjustable for length.

Cant say i've notice a difference with mine lowered, with respect to the ARB

its obviosly under more tension but it hasnt caused an issue

I can honestly say i have never suffered with this tramlining issue. I have replaced all the suspension and bushes, from the outset, and the car drives and handles great. I have some negative camber dialed in at the front and the car does sit lower, but the ride quality is fine. I also run 18" wheel...

Weight saving

Well after a bit of a lay off from working on the car made a start yesterday. Weight saving is still on my agenda, so i removed the standard seats, easy 10 minute job, and sold them already. Happy with that. Plus found £3.27 and an old fruit pastel - result (the money not the pastel) Original seats ...

permanant seat removal

I am removing my seats to replace with lightweight versions, is there a way of loading the connections so the car thinks the original seat is in ? dont want any idiot lights flashing up if i can help it

yep they are not bad in the summer, cool, just too heavy. need lightweight seats

I charge every couple of weeks whilst its off the road. Will go flat in about a month with no use. (not completely flat but not enough juice to move the roof)
