Your 'must do' mods

So for those of you that have done so, what would you say are your 'must do' mods, the ones that, if you were to have to start again, you would be doing first? The ones that made your zed look better? The ones that made it drive better? So lets have them, what are they, how much did they cost, and w...

Technically ay modification should be delcared, including removing things.

A specialist insurer is always the best, I can do basically any modification I want that doesnt gain BHP without any cost including induction kits, exhausts, roll cages, lowerng etc etc.

AP coilovers are abou £300 more than the hottuning, and although I am sure they are better, my current budget wouldnt stretch that far. The choice really is between standard shocks, hottuning coilovers or similar coilovers such as Jom.

Scenario is, one shock has gone, so you need to buy 2 new front shocks and may need springs to (havnt checked yet). You would like to lower the car in the future, but hadnt intended to do it straight away. Would you buy 2 new shocks and springs if required? Cost for shocks would be circa £200. OR Wo...

Good luck with your search. I recently (Saturday!) bought a 2.0 Z3, and I love it! Just sold a Clio 197 Cup, and was worried that the 2.0 would feel slow in comparison, but in all honesty, upto legal speeds, it feels easily as fast, so will feel brilliant coming from the cooper.
