Your 'must do' mods
So for those of you that have done so, what would you say are your 'must do' mods, the ones that, if you were to have to start again, you would be doing first? The ones that made your zed look better? The ones that made it drive better? So lets have them, what are they, how much did they cost, and w...

Only had the car a week, so still learning what there is to love. One thing that has come up a few times already is the number of people that have commented on how lovely it must be for me to have a brand new car like this! I cant think of another car thats 12 years old that, regardless of how good ...

Spring is about £60 http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/BMW_Z ... 8315e&COIS
Labour should be an hour, so the lower price is about right imo.

Point is the job needs doing now, I have a fixed amount of money to do a job that needs doing now, and two ways about doing it. I have read a lot of reviews on the hottuning suspension, and the only negatives I have found is the ride is quite firm, and if you lower too much you get rubbing, which is...

Just had a call from the other half to say that the ABS and ASC lights have just come on and stayed on. Any clues as to what it is? Car apparently driving normally.

Scenario is, one shock has gone, so you need to buy 2 new front shocks and may need springs to (havnt checked yet). You would like to lower the car in the future, but hadnt intended to do it straight away. Would you buy 2 new shocks and springs if required? Cost for shocks would be circa £200. OR Wo...

No electric roof so there would be plenty of space, but as you said, quality is of importance.
Any way to judge a good decent one? (besides price)

Thank you for the detailed response! I will definatley check this. I had the wheels balanced last night, turned out there was no weights on them at all  It has improved, however there is still a slight wobble at 40mph, though the lightnes at the front end seems to have gone away :) Bad news i...

Short aerial
Just a quick heads up for you guys, I had a Citroen C2 aerial lying around spare from an old car (was fitted to my Clio 197 cup) and just tried it on the Z3 and it fits perfectly, and good reception to, well on my drive at least. Was about £5 iirc, part number is 6561N3. This is a picture of it on t...

Took the hard top off tonight and went for a quick drive in the country. Only one way to describe it, I loved it!
