Just looking at the safety. Firstly you would be swapping out seats that are strong enough to support a rollover. OK if you have roll hoops. Secondly, the seatbelt pretensioner would need to be retained. Thirdly later cars have an occupancy sensor that you could bypass if you wanted to fire all airb...

So i've wd40'd both end of the throttle cable, no diferance, what do you reckon i should do next? Clean the thottle body [and ICV]. Try somthing like vinegar. That wil disolve calcium. It will majke you car smell like a chip shop though unless you clean and dry after.

TBH I cant tell any difference, I was not looking for any really as even a Full cat replacement pipe on my MR2 was not noticable. It is a tiny bit louder if anything - it is much smaller and I guess and does not have 50k miles of carbon build up in it. Interesting, changing to a sports cat on mine ...

API I think is an application call. If the lowest level function (Ediabas) isn't running, then that will maybe cause a API call fail. You don't need Tool32. Can you start Ediabas.exe manually first? Edit: Check me out Homes. INPA starts EdiaBas on mine automatically, but there is no harm in starting...

Nope, it's a little green and grey icon by the clock and an item in the taskbar called EdiaBas Server. It functions as the communitcation layer between the car and INPA.

All of the above, but fold the seat far forward, and centre the seat frame on the rails before disconnecting the battery. Wait a few seconds after unplugging the battery before unpluggging the seatbelt pretensioners. This makes it as compact as possible for lifting out, and stops any nasty seat rail...

You need to check if you have the footwell amp. Also, not only do Becker and Alpine have enoug power to drive speakers with a warm sound, they can support iPods too. The BMW gear is, well we have a word filter here so; poor.

That area of the boot lock is prone to rusting, and the boot lid can bend around the lifter. Leave well alone I'd say. I did see a third party little plastic tongue handle thingy that goes below the boot once. Can't find the image now.
