I replaced mine (some were missing last year), not sure of the part number and neither were BMW. I had to sit at the service desk and point them out on screen. Anyway, they cost less than £10 for the 4.

I can't fault Autotech in Sale 0161 969 1117. Independant BMW specialist. Ask for Tony, he owns the place and used to be a BMW Technician. He is also into racing and recently bought Demon Tweeks E36 M3 Evo British Touring Car. Anyway, i have been going to him for years with cars E36 318i, Z3 1.9 Aut...

Well, ihave had chance now to have a good days usage of the PC in the car. The slow boot is kind of annoying, but it didnt spoil the usage. I will be disconnecting the dvd though as i can't see me using it. Yes, xvid/divx is the way to go. I have to say...i hate bluetoothing to my gps....it is so fl...

Fixer, that's a shame about the screens. If you think its your car, have you tried measuring the voltages on the sources that you are connecting to? Might be a good idea to put a multimeter on to check voltage, continuity and any shorts. I suppose it doesnt help when the chinese wiring is a bit susp...

The mini macs turn out expensive after you have added all the extra bits you need to get them complete. The equivalent instead of the notebook i am temporarily using is a new-ish form factor alled mini-itx. Basically the pc would be less than an a4 sheet of paper in size and 50-70mm high. Also, fron...

From memory, its 4 alan key bolts to get the cover off (the big one that says M Power  ) then underneath the cover, you will see them all lined up on an angle. I recently had all mine replaced as the diags said coil pack 5 was failing. This can been seen in the diags unit. With more knowledge, they can actually test deeper i.e. resistance etc. Anyway, i had them replaced and it didnt even turn out to be the coil packs which were at fault (it was my bloody ...

I hate supermarkets too and avaid them at all costs, as with any car park, and i only use the Z as a second car and despite all that, i have still managed to get dings on both sides. Magnetic Door Guards?? Top Middle or Bottom POLL?
I just had delivery of the magnetic door guards which are now back in stock at Z3solutions.com http://64.225.94.154/ShopSite/page1.html . They were reasonably priced at £80 inc painting and delivery to the UK. I can't decide in which position they look best. Top Middle or Bottom (sounds like that ga...

Are Benham BMW stockport trying to pull a fast one?
I know servicing costs vary from dealer to dealer. But, on average, how much should the difference between an Inspection 1 and Inspection 2 be. Benham want 720 for inspection 2 and 690 for inspection 1, 30 difference. These prices include VAT and Labour and have 10% 4+ discount. I would have thought...
