Z3 ETM / Wiring Diagram Required (ZKE Alarm Related)
I have a friend on another forum that is looking for some help; I’m extending the query out to the remainder of this forum as there’s bound to be far more knowledgeable members on here than me! My friend has an E36 3-series convertible which is fitted with a factory alarm (the one built into the ZKE...

Whcih insurance broker are you affiliated with? I'm insured through Adrian Flux and due a renewal in the coming months. My car is fully declared with various modifications so there's few companies that'll touch me, despite having a clean licence and several years NCB. EDIT: Apologies  ... Welc...

That sounds like a dilemma! I have found that most coilover brands require spacers to avoid contact between the shock and the inside edge of the tyre. I usually fit a 3-5mm spacer which leaves a 2-3mm gap... it might seem close but it should never make contact. With spacers being illegal I wouldn't ...

I had this same issue and over time it got progressively worse, it actually ended up being the handbrake cable corroding and struggling to disengage after being on for a period of time. Eventually the o/s cable lost the will to live and snapped, it was a fairly easy item to replace if you like to ge...

I'm sure someone can confirm for definite but it sounds to me like it could be your alternator struggling to provide sufficient charge at idle/low rpm. You could run a voltmeter across your battery at idle and see what readout you get, iirc it should be circa 13v? If less than 12v then you're losing...

Jon, don't forget... mines the facelift version so is single piece and not suitable to a Z3m. That aside, Jon is right on the 3-piece version for the Z3m's and pre-facelift models. Also, isn't there another BMW spoiler which actually sits above the bodyline of the car, ala a traditional spoiler? If ...

I just hand checked the calcs you got from 1010tires and they're spot on! Having looked at 1010tires.com and assuming that my current style 55 wheels are 7j and et46 this will be 20mm further away from the strut housing and will extend an extra 32mm in the wheel arch. Being ET20 I'm guessing they're...
